Bethany Meadows History
Bethany Meadows is owned and operated by Bethany Lutheran Home, a not-for-profit organization providing excellence in health care services to seniors in Sioux Falls since 1950. Bethany Meadows was opened in October of 2003 and the facility is known for its beautiful campus and its great food and amenities.
The land that Bethany Meadows was built on was donated by the Nelson family to Bethany Lutheran Home. Bethany Lutheran Home held on to the ground for over 20 years before deciding to build an independent and assisted living facility to complement their skilled care nursing home facility in Sioux Falls. Bethany Meadows, like Bethany Lutheran Home, is sponsored by six area churches, listed below:
